Freedom Server is built around a simple idea: your knowledge and your data stay on your machine. This policy explains the little data we do handle to sell and license the software.
What we collect
- Email address — to send your license key and provide support. That's the only personal detail we ask for.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- License activation data — your license key and a one-way hash of a machine identifier, so a license can be bound to your device and can't be shared. We never receive your raw hardware details, only the hash.
🔒 The app itself collects nothing. Once activated, Freedom Server runs fully offline. There is no telemetry, no analytics, no tracking, and no "phone home." Your questions, documents, and library never leave your computer.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to deliver the product: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending your license email), and Cloudflare (hosting). We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your license record and email for as long as your license is active, so we can support you and let you re-activate on a new machine. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
