Freedom Server is built around a simple idea: your knowledge and your data stay on your machine. This policy explains the little data we do handle to sell and license the software.
What we collect
- Email address — to send your license key and provide support. That's the only personal detail we ask for.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- License activation data — your license key and a one-way hash of a machine identifier, so a license can be bound to your device and can't be shared. We never receive your raw hardware details, only the hash.
- How this website is used — when you visit freedomserver.online we store a random number in your browser and record which pages you opened, so we can tell how many people reached us and from which of our own ads (the
utm_ tags we put on our links). That number is not your name, your email or your IP, and it is never joined to your purchase. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes it. This is about the website: the app you install still sends nothing, ever.
🔒 The desktop app collects nothing. Once activated, Freedom Server runs fully offline. There is no telemetry, no analytics, no tracking, and no "phone home." Your questions, documents, and library never leave your computer.
The web service is different, and we say so. If you sign in to the Experts hub at our website, your questions are sent to our servers to be answered and are stored in your account until you delete them. That service has its own policy, which spells out exactly what is kept.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to deliver the product: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending your license email), and Cloudflare (hosting). We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your license record and email for as long as your license is active, so we can support you and let you re-activate on a new machine. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
